Advent Calendars day 17

Today’s options were pretty tasty! Bianco doppio from Nespresso, hibiscus rose from Vahdam, and jasmine green tea from The Boathouse.

1st place goes to Vahdam!

This surprised me, I was expecting to find this perfume-y and bitter, but it actually reminded me of my favourite Indian dessert: gulab jamun. It had the perfect rose flavour and sweetness. I didn’t add anything to the tea; it was just the flowers, so delish.

I would order a whole box of these and have them as a dessert tea.

2nd place goes to Nespresso!

This double espresso is a light and sweet capsule. I’ve had it before and always make it an iced latte, this is one of the few pods I never have to add sugar to.

I had it today over strawberry milk!

I would buy this again for sure!

3rd place goes to The Boathouse!

I have a bit of a hot take on jasmine… I think it is a wonderful scent and I have a jasmine perfume that I wear at least once a week BUT I don’t love it as a flavour. I find it too sharp in a tea.

This was a classic tea, just not a flavour that I typically enjoy (though I am a plain green tea girl!!).
