Advent Calendars Day 16

Today, The Boathouse gave us Honeybush Cranberry, Vahdam gave us Assam Exotic, and Nespresso gave us Master Origins: Colombia.

1st place goes to Vahdam!

This was a solid black tea! Smooth and an almost chocolate-y aftertaste. Very yummy!

2nd place goes to Nespresso!

This coffee was very generic. Nothing to write home about.

Maybe if I made some fun syrups of my own I would care more about the unflavoured pods, but I have a Nespresso and not an actual espresso machine for convenience, so I’m not sure syrups are in the cards any time soon lol.

I’ve tried some store-bought syrups and a lot of them have artificial sweeteners in them, and I hate the taste of those.

3rd place goes to The Boathouse!

This tea was not for me, again, a kind of perfume-y flavour. I was expecting a tartness from the cranberry, but it was a sweet and pretty one-note tea, unfortunately.

Cheers!

I’m Katie

I’m so glad you’re here! What I really hope for with this blog is a creative outlet for myself. Whenever I feel myself getting into a rut with school I try to get creative in the kitchen, get crafting, or get reading and it usually gets me back on track. I also love camping and trying new things so this will be a real mishmash of my life!
