Today Nespresso had a holiday themed coffee: sweet almond and hibiscus! Vahdam’s flavour was mint melody, and The Boathouse also had a mint tea, peppermint.

1st place goes to Vahdam!

I love mint tea. This was so classic with a nice and strong mint flavour.

2nd place goes to Nespresso!

I was a little disappointed in this flavoured coffee, it really did not taste like hibiscus at all. I could taste the almond and that was pleasant but it just seemed odd that there was no real floral notes.

3rd goes to The Boathouse.

I’m noticing that many of The Boathouse flavours have apple in them, and it is making many of the teas taste similar. It just feels like an unnecessary inclusion in some of them, especially a peppermint tea. This tea really didn’t give peppermint at all.

I’m so glad you’re here! What I really hope for with this blog is a creative outlet for myself. Whenever I feel myself getting into a rut with school I try to get creative in the kitchen, get crafting, or get reading and it usually gets me back on track.
