Another day of catching up lol… Will I get up to the correct date?
Today had lemon ginger from Vahdam, Boathouse blend from The Boathouse, and double espresso scuro from Nespresso!
1st place today goes to the double espresso!
I made a delish latte with vanilla and brown sugar and my milk frothed beautifully today.
I love having lattes in a clear cup; they’re so pretty.
I wouldn’t necessarily buy this espresso again as it was dark and we know I don’t love dark roast but it was just the best of today lol.
2nd place goes to Boathouse Blend.
This was meh, nothing crazy, I was expecting it to be more of a breakfast tea, but it almost is tasteless? Kind of a subtle earthy flavour.
With the Boathouse advent calendar, I worry that it doesn’t do the teas justice as they are just in the paper tea bag in the box and aren’t sealed. The flavour seems to be disappearing over time.
3rd place goes to Vahdam today.
This tea tastes like Mr. Clean lemon floor cleaner and was actually undrinkable.
Maddy tasted this one with me and thinks it smells like Pine-Sol and tastes like Vicks VapoRub.
Not a good day for the teas!
Maddy defended her MSc today, and Emily had defended the week before, so we had a little celebration!
