So…. December 6th was very busy with a work event then I went to my in laws for the night so there was no time to advent calendar. I’m going to rank the 6 against each other since I’m drinking them all together!
Flavours from the 6th: Ristretto Intenso from Nespresso, Hazelnut from The Boathouse, and Pumpkin Spiced from Vahdam.
Flavours from the 7th: Cinnamon and Candied Tamarind from Nespresso’s festive collection, Peach from The Boathouse, and English Breakfast from Vahdam.
1st place goes to Hazelnut from The Boathouse!
This was nutty and smooth, no bitterness at all. Perfect for the snowy Sunday!
2nd place goes to Nespresso with their Cinnamon and Candied Tamarind pod!
Full transparency, I knew I was going to like this, I had bought a sleeve of these pods when I saw them on the website. I LOVE TAMARIND!! I do think this could have a little more cinnamon as that is supposed to be a primary flavour but this pod is so good and I wish it wasn’t just for the holidays.
3rd place goes to Peach, from The Boathouse!
It is light and fruity and would be absolutely perfect as an iced tea in the summer.
4th place goes to English Breakfast from Vahdam.
A solid breakfast tea, nothing out of this world, just perfectly fine!
5th place goes to Ristretto Intenso from Nespresso.
I tried just the coffee and as per its name, it is intense. Too strong for my tastes. I made it yummy by turning it into an iced latte with brown sugar and vanilla but I can’t rate the pod off of it being good due to my additions haha. I probably would not buy this pod in the future.
6th place goes to Pumpkin Spiced by Vahdam! It was just not for me, it had an almost medicinal after taste.
